"Fräulein Schlecker", that is Petra (Swiss) and me (German) baking Christmas cookies and Stollen like maniacs to bring a bit of Swiss and German Christmas tradition to Sydney. We ate loads of them ourselves (Hüftgold = hip gold) but also managed to sell quite a bit at the Balmain market during the December Saturdays before Christmas. The Sydneysiders and Expats from Switzerland and Germany must have enjoyed our work: each time we sold out very quickly and had a lot of fun!
