I was working in
Peggy set up her own business, making cakes and cookies for all kinds of events, e.g. chocolate Faberge Eggs for Elton John's “White Tie and Tiara Ball”, Stella McCartney's wedding cake as well as cakes for movie premieres with stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and corporate parties for companies in the fashion and music industry.
Peggy is a supplier to Fortnum & Mason who have commissioned her to create some of their seasonal ranges of hand decorated cakes and cookies to adorn their shelves & hampers. She is a regular contributor to various magazines, such as You & Your Wedding, Brides, Wedding Day, Marie Claire, Delicious, and her work has appeared in many more publications in the
Highly respected German daily newspaper “Sueddeutsche Zeitung” just recently ran a profile on me and my work which you can read online here. Sorry, it is only available in German. Even Babelfish struggles with the translation to English, churning out the title as “fodder for the camera”…hm, I guess that is what I am doing, just takes a bit of the glamour out of it ;-)

Da kommt das Dessert, bisher das einzige, womit ich leider noch keine guten Erfahrungen gemacht habe. Als Basis für viele Süßspeisen wird oft "black bean paste" verwendet und dann mit Aromen, z.B. Banane oder Kokos versetzt. Klingt nicht nur merkwürdig, schmeckt auch so.
